French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized, on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Évian, France, that he has always trusted Donald Trump and that the United States fulfills its commitments.

He said: “For my part, I have always trusted President Trump because I have raised issues with him plainly and directly. Even when we disagreed, we have stood by our positions.”

Glithithe added: “Whenever he has committed to doing something for us, he has carried out his commitments, and today as well, the United States is committed. This is very important.”
