Following the remarks by Iranian and U.S. officials about reopening, control, and how transit through the Strait of Hormuz will be handled in the future, Majid Dostali, a member of the Parliament’s Article 90 Commission, claimed that the “consequences of America’s pressure on Oman” during negotiations with the Islamic Republic over the Strait of Hormuz mean that Iran will never reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
