Fereydoun Nadimi, a senior researcher in defense and security affairs, said that strengthening the U.S. military posture in the region, including deploying a new carrier battle group and destroyers equipped with the Aegis system, is designed to counter the missile threats of the Islamic Republic.

He added that the Islamic Republic can damage the oil and gas infrastructure of regional countries with its missiles and drones, but these attacks will not be decisive and will not change the war equation. Nadimi also said that in the event of escalation of the conflict, there is a possibility that networks and cells affiliated with the Islamic Republic outside the region could be activated.
