Explosions in Qeshm; the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claims it “immobilized” two American drones

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced on Monday evening that it has managed to “immobilize two American reconnaissance drones of the MQM-170 type in the skies over the southern part of Qeshm Island.”

The IRGC says that with these two drones, the number of drones it has seized from the United States has reached four.

Before this news was released, an IRNA reporter in Qeshm also reported hearing the sounds of several explosions and said that “these explosions took place continuously and one after another, and given the intensity of the blasts, it appears that the impact was inside the island.”

The reporter also received messages indicating that multiple terrifying explosions were heard in Qeshm.

CENTCOM has not yet responded to the IRGC’s claim.
