Earlier, Kuwait’s Royal Army announced that on Monday, August 4, it would carry out live-fire drills on its northern borders:

The Secretariat of Guidance and Public Relations of the Kuwaiti Army announces to the brothers of citizens and respected residents who are interested in camping and hunting in the desert that the Kuwaiti Army, on Monday and Tuesday, corresponding to August 4 to 5, 2026, from 5:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., will conduct live-fire shots at the firing range in the Al-Abraq region.

The Secretariat of Guidance and Public Relations requests the brothers of citizens and residents who are interested in the desert to refrain from approaching or setting up camp in the aforementioned area during the announced period, for the safety of everyone.
