The British maritime organization (UKMTO) said that a cargo vessel at a distance of 20 nautical miles northeast of the city of Al Khasab in Oman, on its journey to the south of the Strait of Hormuz, via the VHF 16 communication channel, has reported that it was struck by a projectile.
