Donald Trump, the President of the United States, said in an interview with Newsmax that he has no plans to consider sending American ground forces to Iran and that he will not use nuclear weapons against this country.
These remarks are being made while the possibility of a military escalation between the United States and the Islamic Republic, and Washington’s options for continuing pressure on Tehran, remain among the main issues in regional developments.
Reuters reported on Thursday, 23 Mehr, citing CNN, that the U.S. military is considering the possible use of the GBU-43 bomb, known as the “Mother of All Bombs,” in future attacks against Iran. This powerful bomb is the most powerful non-nuclear weapon currently in the U.S. arsenal.
In another part of the interview, Trump added that he is also negotiating with Russia and China regarding nuclear disarmament.
Trump did not provide further details about the negotiation process, topics discussed, or any possible timeline for reaching an agreement.
