Donald Trump, the president of the United States, rejected a CNN report about decreased stockpiles of missiles, saying the United States has vast reserves of munitions and, at the same time, is producing and delivering various types of munitions to its military forces.
Recently, CNN had reported, citing two “informed sources,” that senior military commanders have warned the U.S. government that munitions stockpiles as a result of the Middle East war are “dangerously low.”
Trump, continuing his remarks and referring to the leak of classified information, described the move as “treasonous” and said the people who leaked this information will be pursued and that the government will seek long-term prison sentences for them.
He also said that defense industry companies are building the largest number of factories and production facilities in the history of the United States.
On Tuesday, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also rejected the CNN report.
