Daria Safai, an Iranian-born member of the Belgian parliament, at the Mehrgan celebration, spoke to Leili Nikfar, an Iran International reporter, saying: «Our Iranian identity is the only way to save us, and in these dark days, more than ever, we need the light of hope for Iran. Relying on our Iranian identity and having Prince Reza Pahlavi as Fereydun of the time, we are confident that we will move toward the light.»
