👈 Britain: UN nuclear sanctions against Iran remain in place

Britain says that despite the end of the work of the UN panel of experts on Iran, the sanctions related to the nuclear program remain binding on all member countries.

London also accused Iran of “insufficient cooperation with the IAEA” and said that the end of the experts’ mandate makes it harder to monitor the implementation of sanctions and efforts to evade them.

The UK’s representative to the UN also claimed that Iran has more than 400 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60 percent, and that the agency is not able to confirm the amount and location of these stockpiles
