🔶 BMW plans to cut eight thousand jobs worldwide
The automaker BMW intends to eliminate around eight thousand jobs worldwide. According to German and French news agencies, citing sources close to the company, a wide-ranging program for end-of-employment compensation is being planned in Germany as part of this effort.
Accordingly, starting in October, BMW will make individual offers for end-of-employment compensation to approximately 40,000 people out of its 85,000 employees in Germany.
The company then wants to reduce its workforce to the necessary number by drawing from volunteers who accept offers for end-of-employment compensation.
