❌ Bloomberg: A bipartisan group of U.S. senators has reached an agreement on a bill that would allow President Trump to impose tougher sanctions on major buyers of Russian and Iranian energy.
This bill, which Trump supports and which was advanced by the late Senator Lindsey Graham, is scheduled for a procedural vote in the Senate on Monday.
The bill would allow the president to apply tariffs to the five largest oil and natural gas buyers in Russia, as well as to the five top countries that help Russia get around energy sanctions, while also expanding targeted penalties against Iran.
