Belarus produces a new assault rifle «with help from Iran»

🔸 Alexander Lukashenko, the leader of Belarus, on August 18, during a visit to a weapons production factory in the Minsk region, unveiled a new assault rifle named “VSK-100B”; a weapon that its makers say has all its components produced in Belarus.

🔸 If this claim is true, fully producing this weapon inside Belarus would be an important achievement for a country heavily under sanctions.

🔸 However, sources that have reviewed the production process say that Belarus’s access to the necessary equipment to build this rifle was made possible with the help of the Iranian government.
