“Before and after each wave of executions, the government has experienced internal or external crises”

In an interview with IranWire TV, Raqiyeh Rezaei presented, based on data she obtained in an investigative report, details about the pattern of retaliatory executions by the Islamic Republic against citizens. According to Raqiyeh Rezaei, the Islamic Republic carries out a wave of death sentences before or after every internal and external threat in order to intimidate society. According to Raqiyeh Rezaei, six days after the trigger mechanism was activated, death sentences for several Arab prisoners in Sibban Prison in Ahvaz were carried out; sentences that had been suspended by the Islamic Republic itself.
