🔻Baqaei: The White House’s accusations against Iran describe the actions of the United States itself

Ismail Baqaei, spokesperson of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote on his account on the X social network that the White House spokesperson has raised a “long list of accusations against Iran.”

He wrote: “With remarkable attention to detail, most of these accusations describe the very actions that the United States itself has initiated, carried out, or supported.”

Mr. Baqaei added: “This escape from reality and deflection should not be surprising,” and continued: “The bad person flees, even when no one is chasing him.”

His remarks appear to be in response to statements by Anna Kelly, the White House spokesperson, who, in rejecting a new report by the UN fact-finding mission, accused Iran of committing war crimes, killing protesters, attacks in the Strait of Hormuz, and indiscriminate attacks on countries in the region.
