🔸Axios website, in a report citing two sources, reported on the meeting between Pete Hegseth, the U.S. defense minister, and Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, on Monday, 27 Mehr, in Israel.

🔸The trip was carried out despite the fact that only eight days remain until Israel’s election, as the United States and Israel are discussing the possibility of resuming large-scale military operations against Iran.

🔸According to these two sources, the meeting between Hegseth and Netanyahu took place at the “Uvda” airbase in southern Israel; a base where U.S. refueling aircraft and fighter jets are stationed.

🔸Based on this report, Hegseth also met with U.S. forces stationed at this base.

🔸Axios wrote that the Pentagon and the Israeli embassy declined to comment on the matter.

🔸After the report was published, Pete Hegseth also shared an image of his meeting with the Central Command (CENTCOM) command forces of the U.S. Army.

🔸CENTCOM is responsible for U.S. military operations in the Middle East, parts of Central and South Asia, and Egypt.
