Aurora borealis of the highest intensity level is being observed over Russia amid a magnetic storm that began on Earth late Saturday evening, the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported.

“The aurora over the country is at the highest level—10 out of 10,” the statement indicates.
