Ali Shirazi, a member of the Iran International editorial team, referring to the joy of Islamic Republic officials over the defeat of Republicans in the U.S. midterm elections, said that American voters’ dissatisfaction was not only due to the war with Iran, but that Trump’s dual and contradictory policies in this war also played a role.

He emphasized that Democrats and Republicans do not differ in their objectives toward the Islamic Republic, and that their main disagreement is only over the way to deal with Tehran.
