Ali Salihi, Tehran’s general and revolutionary prosecutor, described content released by some tourism agencies on social media as “immoral” and as an instance of “norm-breaking,” and ordered that pages of tourism agencies without permits be identified and blocked within one week.
Salihi emphasized that these pages must be blocked with urgent priority and that legal action be taken against those running them.
He also criticized what he called “norm-breaking” in public places and called for increased monitoring of sports halls, restaurants, halls, parks, cinemas, theater halls, and parks.
The Tehran prosecutor warned that if “norm-breaking” occurs in these places, in addition to the individual offender, legal action will also be taken against the person responsible for issuing the permit.
