🔶 Al-Sayyid on chance of winning the election: I feel good

Abdel Al-Sayyid, the Democrats’ candidate for a U.S. Senate seat from the state of Michigan, said on Tuesday, November 3 (12 Aban) that he is optimistic about his chances of winning the election.

Speaking with reporters on the campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, he said: “I feel good, because all the evidence shows that we truly managed to shape everything that we wanted. Some of us believe in trusting science and evidence. Others judge purely based on feelings. Time will tell.”

Al-Sayyid also said that he is preparing himself for the possibility of challenges and protests regarding the election result.

He added: “We prepare for any outcome, but we hope the result is so decisive that someone acting out of malice and with the aim of creating concern about democracy won’t be able to challenge it.”
