Ahmed al-Sharaa, President of Syria, in contact with Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince, condemned the targeting of oil facilities in this country by militias affiliated with the Islamic Republic in Iraq.

Syria also, while expressing its disgust at these attacks, declared its firm support for the security and sovereignty of Saudi Arabia.

In the conversation, the two sides also discussed regional and international developments, as well as the efforts made to reduce tensions and strengthen security and stability in the region.

Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, also discussed the latest regional developments and efforts to increase security and stability in the region in a separate call with the Saudi Crown Prince.
