The acting Defense Ministry and Armed Forces Logistics Chief of the Islamic Republic assessed recent U.S. threats against the Iranian government as “real and worth taking seriously.”

Majid Ebne al-Reza claimed on Sunday, 11 Mordad, on social media that the recent remarks by American officials are brought up “in the context of psychological operations and a war of calculations.”

However, he acknowledged that “every threat is a real and worth-taking one.”

The acting defense minister also claimed that the Islamic Republic uses the threats as “a basis for increasing readiness, strengthening deterrence, and upgrading its own power.”

Donald Trump, the U.S. president, wrote Saturday evening on Truth Social that the United States is prepared to take action against the Islamic Republic of Iran with a level of readiness, power, and military capability that has not been seen since World War II.

President Trump added, however, that the Islamic Republic, as well as other countries in the Middle East, have asked Washington to stop any attack because a framework for an agreement has been reached.
