Based on the latest figures from Iran’s Water Resources Management Company regarding the status of the country’s dam reservoirs, about 25 to 30 percent of the country’s dams have a deficit of more than 25 percent compared to normal conditions.

This data indicates that, at present, about 58 percent of the capacity of the country’s dams has been filled.

In Tehran as well, the storage level of the Lar dam reservoir has dropped to about seven percent, and the Malmo dam reservoir also shows 14 percent fill.

According to the figures from Iran’s Water Resources Management Company, the Amir Kabir dam reservoir has reached 163 million cubic meters, which represents 91 percent fill.

The storage level of the Latian dam reservoir has also reached 65 percent, and the Taleqan dam reservoir has reached 54 percent.
