According to information received by Voice of America, Gholamhossein (Hassan) Sarami, a children’s rights and labor activist and a former political prisoner, was arrested on Thursday morning by government plainclothes agents and transferred to an undisclosed location. Sarami has prostate cancer, and after his arrest, his access to the medication and medical services he needs has been restricted.
