Based on the report from the “Iranian Teachers’ Professional Challenge” channel, the initial panel for investigating administrative violations of the Education Department of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province has sentenced Ali Hossein Bahamin, a teachers’ professional activist and a physics teacher at schools in Yasuj, to forced retirement, along with reduction to two categories.

According to the issued ruling, the charges attributed to Mr. Bahamin include “attending unlawful gatherings of cultural-teachers professional groups,” “insulting officials of the system,” and other cases which the reviewing panel has determined fall under Clause 32 of Article 8 of the Law on Investigation of Administrative Violations.
