Abbas Araqchi, the foreign minister of the Islamic Republic, wrote on the social network X that Iran’s energy diplomacy at the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) summit has taken a step forward.

He said that developments in global gas markets and energy security were the main focus of the discussions at this summit.

Araqchi added: “The harmful consequences of any kind of military adventurism, spurred by Israel, in the Persian Gulf region, continue to be among the serious concerns of gas-exporting and gas-consuming countries for international markets.”
