A video received by Iran International shows that the body of Amirhossein Safary, one of the two protesters executed at dawn on Tuesday, the sixth of Mordad, was laid to rest in Khoor and Biabanak County, in Isfahan Province. The location is 5 hours away from the city of Isfahan.

Abolfazl Sepahi and Amirhossein Safary were two of the detainees from the protests of Dey 1404 who were executed in public in Aliqani Square in Isfahan. A while earlier, Erfan Esfandiari and Golmohammad Mohammadi, two other defendants in this case, had also been executed.

Before the execution of these two political prisoners, the families of the political prisoners sentenced to death and citizens had gathered in Aliqani Square in Isfahan, and clashes broke out between the Islamic Republic’s special forces unit and the protesters.
