Mohammad Javad Akbarin, a member of Iran International’s editorial team, referring to Donald Trump’s remarks about the Islamic Republic, said that Trump’s comments show that he has come to the conclusion that negotiating with the Iranian government is pointless.

He added that some analyses consider Trump’s provocative language a kind of “deception operation” that could, by increasing the Islamic Republic’s responses, make the course of the war clearer more quickly.
