🔻The documentary “Noza,” made by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, which is about the killing of Palestinians in Gaza, has broken the record for standing ovations after its screening at the Venice Film Festival.

Audience members applauded the film after a 25-minute screening, setting a record for the longest applause.

Noza, the title of the documentary, is a term used in the Israeli army referring to the number of civilians who might be killed in air strikes.

The documentary includes interviews with twenty-four Israeli information and military whistleblowers.

Mr. Abraham and Ms. Szor, along with two Palestinian filmmakers, won the Oscar for Best Documentary in 2024 with the documentary “No Other Land,” which addressed the subject of the expulsion of Palestinians from villages in the occupied West Bank.
