Eight months after the Dey protests, one of the protestors injured by a gunshot to his leg says he still cannot walk

Eight months after the Dey protests, one of the protestors who was injured after being shot and wounded in his leg told Iran International that he is still not able to walk.

This protestor, whose identity and the location where he lives are being kept confidential for security reasons, has undergone 23 surgeries so far, and his return of mobility may take at least another year.

According to the protestor, in addition to pain and physical complications, the heavy costs of treatment and security concerns have put a great deal of pressure on him and his family.
