Images shared on social media show shopkeepers’ strike coinciding with the fourth anniversary of the killing of Mahsa Jina Amini. On Wednesday, 25 Shahrivar 1405, following a call by the Coalition of Political Forces of Iranian Kurdistan, shopkeepers and bazaar merchants went on strike in a number of Kurdish-populated areas of Iran. Human rights sources have reported an escalation in the security atmosphere in these cities.
