According to informed sources who spoke with CBS News—a partnership with BBC—in the United States, Elon Musk’s decision to impose restrictions on Ukraine’s use of the satellite communications network of SpaceX has resulted in it.
This satellite service, which is used for drone operations, targeting certain targets, and protecting sites and positions in Ukraine, faced a significant reduction in speed last week.
It is still unclear how Elon Musk’s order to restrict these services has been carried out.
Musk’s Starlink technology is provided to the U.S. government. Last week, he said that the U.S. government controls who has access to this technology and what level of service each of the users receives.
On Tuesday, after meeting with Steve Witkoff, Donald Trump’s envoy, Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, said that the flow of information exchange between Ukraine and the United States has been restored.
