Ahmed Alavi, a university professor and economist, says that rising cost of living and workers’ wages being insufficient could, if this situation continues, transfer poverty to the next generation and bring social consequences.

Referring to the handling of protesting workers, he said that with the continuation of economic, social and political problems, the conditions for mass uprisings will be created.
