Majid ibn al-Ridha, the caretaker of the Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Republic, said that in the event of another war, the Islamic Republic will operate “much more powerful and advanced” than previous wars from a technological standpoint.

Ibn al-Ridha said at a gathering of directors of industrial organizations of the Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Republic that what is shown of the Islamic Republic’s defense capability is only a small portion of the existing capacity in the defense industries.

He added that the Islamic Republic’s technological activities, production lines, and armaments factories continue their work, and defense capabilities are also being developed based on experiences gained from past conflicts.

Ibn al-Ridha also said that the Islamic Republic relies on domestic capabilities and capacity to ensure security and defend its interests and is prepared to counter threats.
