🔶 Houthi attack on the Sharurah base in Saudi Arabia

Yahya Saree, the military spokesman for the Houthi militia, announced that these forces targeted a military base in the Sharurah region in southern Saudi Arabia during an operation. He did not provide further details about when these attacks took place.

The Houthi military spokesman, who is considered part of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s proxy forces in the region, wrote in his message on the X social network (formerly Twitter) that in this operation “weapons and ammunition stores as well as the control and command center were targeted,” which, according to him, “are responsible for directing attacks against the people of Yemen.”

On the other hand, Saudi officials reported on the evening of Sunday, September 12 (21 Shahrivar), that two people were injured in Jazan (located in southern Saudi Arabia and on the border with Yemen) as a result of a Houthi projectile strike.

The Saudi Civil Defense Organization also said that, as a result of the Houthi projectile strike in the Jazan region, a mosque, several buildings, and vehicles were damaged. The Saudi government had warned earlier, an hour before the incident, about possible Houthi attacks.
