🔻Following recent attacks, Britain stressed its solidarity with Saudi Arabia

🔻David Ed Miliband, the UK foreign secretary, announced Britain’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia in the wake of the recent Houthi attacks in a telephone conversation with Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, his Saudi counterpart.

According to the official Saudi news agency, Mr. Miliband, during the call, emphasized Saudi Arabia’s right to take the necessary defensive measures to ensure its security within the framework of international laws.

The two sides also discussed the need to step up joint efforts to ensure security and freedom of navigation in waterways, to strengthen regional security and stability, and to protect global trade from the consequences of the current crisis.
