🔻A rescuer was injured while saving a leopard that had crashed with a vehicle.

The incident took place on a highway in the south-west of India. After the medics used a dart to sedate the leopard, they intended to move it to a truck, but the animal attacked one of them.

The condition of the leopard and the rescuer was reported to be stable. According to a local official, the leopard is now under observation in a wildlife park and may later be transferred to an animal care and rescue center.
