China can no longer remain silent while someone in a sailor outfit and a military cap, with poor pronunciation of some words, talks about a nuclear attack.

China must respond. It must cool down this fervor. China should show ambition to be one of the world’s leaders—not only economically and technologically, but also culturally—by making clear that no dictatorship has the right to threaten the planet with its outdated nuclear warheads.
