The “Mother of the Homeland” statue in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, is hosting nighttime illuminated shows on the occasion of Flag Day (August 23) and Independence Day (August 24), and in these displays, a large and luminous image of the “Trident” (three-pronged trident) symbol is projected onto the statue.

This move continues the installation of a physical “Trident” symbol on the statue’s shield in 2023, replacing the old Soviet emblem.
