🔺Zelensky: Last night’s attack by Russia was one of the biggest blows to Ukraine’s energy

▪The president of Ukraine announced that Russia targeted more than 15 major power generation and transmission sites in one of the largest attacks on this country’s energy grid.

▪Volodymyr Zelensky said, “From 7 p.m. yesterday until 7 a.m. this morning, more than 320 drones were seen, as well as loitering munitions and cruise and ballistic missiles, used against our energy, against our cities and our communities.”

▪However, the Russian Ministry of Defense, in a statement, wrote that last night they targeted the largest steel plant in Ukraine, in Kryvyi Rih, because the plant supplies steel to Ukraine’s military industries. The statement also referred to an electrical substation in Zhytomyr, a steel plant in Zaporizhzhia, and a cargo ship in the Black Sea.
