🗣 Your account of being dismissed and delays in salary payments — Monday, 19 Mordad:
🔹 We are employees of Iran Air who, after the war, saw our wages cut by one-third, and even that is paid with a lot of delay. Even now, when the company has normal income. If we say anything, we’re threatened with layoffs.
🔹 My husband has 24 years of work experience and, with a master’s degree, is an employee of the Sangan stone mine in Khaf. For three months now, despite the fact that by the end of Khordad his payroll statement has been received, they haven’t paid salaries to the workers.
🔹 The copper mine of Chah Firoozeh city in Babak, Kerman, still hasn’t paid the wages for the month of Khordad, and they also give no answers.
🔹 I’m sending a message from the city of Sari. For three months, they haven’t paid the salaries of the municipality employees and workers. We really don’t know where we can seek shelter.
🔹 I’m sending a message from Sirjan. Employees of the Gol Gohar mine haven’t received their wages for eight months, and instead of paying their salaries, they fired some of them without any reason.
🔹 Why aren’t the arrears for the months of Farvardin and Ordibehesht being paid to Social Security pension recipients? Don’t we have lives?
🔹 What sin have we workers committed that Social Security, in these bad economic conditions, pays wages late? By God, we can’t look the landlord in the face anymore.
