🔺Ukraine drone attack on Russian refineries kills 12

▪In a drone attack by Ukraine on an industrial city in the Russian republic of Tatarstan, at least 12 people were killed and 39 were injured. Rustam Minnikhanov, president of Tatarstan, announced a period of public mourning after the attack.

▪According to reports by Russian media, the oil refinery in the region—one of Russia’s most advanced refineries—was targeted in this attack.

▪TANKO refinery, owned by TATNEFT, which was also targeted by a Ukrainian attack in early Khordad, processed about 17 million tons of crude oil in 2024 and produced 2 million 700 thousand tons of gasoline and 8 million 500 thousand tons of diesel.
