📍 Yesterday, 6 Mordad 1405, the bodies of two killed people from the Dey uprising, Amiralī Heydari and Soroush Karami, were unearthed and relocated.

Amiralī Heydari (17 years old, from Kermanshah) was declared dead with a direct shot to his face on the evening of 18 Dey. Security agents abducted his body and, in exchange for taking a bail from his family, handed over a body to them for burial under security conditions. But the body that was delivered and buried belonged to Soroush Karami—a teenager who had also been killed by being shot in the face.

For months, Soroush Karami’s family had been unaware of everything, believing that he was in detention, as they searched for their child. It was only then that they learned of their child’s death and, ultimately, witnessed this horrifying relocation. Finally, a few months ago, the authorities informed the families of the real burial location of Amiralī and Soroush’s bodies.

Yesterday, after months of uncertainty, both bodies were unearthed so that they could finally be laid to rest alongside their families.

Throughout this time, Amiralī’s body had been buried in an unnamed and unmarked grave, Soroush’s family had been kept in the dark about their son, and Amiralī’s family was crying at Soroush’s grave.
