US forces have redirected 75 vessels since the United States resumed its blockade of Iranian ports in mid-July, US Central Command (CENTCOM) said.

“As of August 27, CENTCOM forces have redirected 75 commercial vessels, disabled three and boarded two to ensure compliance,” the command said on X.

The United States resumed its maritime blockade of Iran on July 14. On August 23, the number of redirected vessels stood at 70.
