Urgent / UK Maritime Trade Operations Organization: It has received a report about an incident involving a liquefied natural gas (LNG)-carrying vessel as it was exiting the Strait of Hormuz.

The captain of the LNG-carrying ship reported that the vessel was damaged after being hit by debris from a projectile with an unknown origin.

The captain stated that all crew members are safe and that no signs of pollution or any environmental consequences have been observed. The ship will also continue on its route.
