🔺U.S. Treasury Department warning about the Islamic Republic’s shadow fleet using fake flags to evade sanctions

▪ The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Treasury Department, in a statement, said that ships in the Islamic Republic’s shadow fleet are increasingly using fake flags and fraudulent registration documents to evade U.S. sanctions and continue exporting oil and petrochemical products.
