The U.S. Embassy in Amman, Jordan, asked its citizens to leave the region as tensions in the Middle East increase.

The U.S. Embassy in Amman warned that the Islamic Republic has recently attacked targets in the region without warning and has expanded the scope of its attacks to areas including Egypt.
