U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), in response to recent remarks by the foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran that Iran is not attacking civilians in neighboring countries, called the claim false.

On the X social network, CENTCOM said the Islamic Republic has intentionally targeted civilian infrastructure, residential areas, and other facilities of the Persian Gulf coastal states.

The command added that Iran’s deliberate attacks on civilian sailors in recent months have resulted in the deaths of more than 20 people.
