🔸The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it has reached an agreement with the United Arab Emirates to form the first bilateral task force with the aim of accelerating the development of applications of artificial intelligence in the military field.

🔸CENTCOM said on Monday, the 6th of Mordad, that this task force, named the “Task Force Talon Synapse,” will begin operating in Abu Dhabi in the coming weeks, and will include around 20 American and Emirati specialists in the areas of artificial intelligence, data, and cybersecurity.

🔸According to CENTCOM, the task force will focus on developing artificial intelligence applications to support intelligence gathering, protect critical infrastructure, and monitor the region’s security situation. Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of CENTCOM, described this cooperation as a “historic milestone” in expanding the two countries’ military cooperation.
