▪The Islamic Republic, in the continued crackdown and killing of opponents, and at a time when Iranian society is still in anger over the execution of Alireza Sepahi, has sentenced two other detained protesters—Arman Almasi and Borzou Rezaei—to death. At the same time, prisoners in the country’s 66 prisons went on a hunger strike in protest against the issuance and implementation of death sentences.
